Find quick answers for setup, permissions, imports, sleep status, widgets, personal iCloud sync, and data controls.

New NowStatus app identity

NowStatus uses bundle ID com.nowstatus.app and starts with empty data. It does not migrate, read, or delete data or partner relationships from an earlier app identity. The old and new apps can remain installed separately.

Calendar import

Open Plan, choose calendar import, grant Calendar access, select a date range, review the events, then confirm the import. NowStatus only reads the range you choose.

Class timetable import

Create or open a semester, set each class-period time, choose Import Courses, select a CSV or ICS file, choose the status applied to the batch, review every course, and import. You can edit an individual course before confirming.

Apple Watch sleep status

In NowStatus, choose the status used for sleep and enable Apple Watch sleep recognition. Grant read access when iOS asks. Raw sleep data stays on your device.

Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets

Add the NowStatus widget from the iOS widget gallery. If content looks old, open NowStatus once, confirm the app and widget use the same language and appearance, then wait briefly for iOS to refresh the timeline.

Personal iCloud sync

Sign in with Apple to sync supported personal data through the private CloudKit database of the iCloud account currently signed in on the device. If both this device and iCloud already contain data, review the one-time choice to merge, use iCloud, or keep local data. Signing out stops sync and partner network activity but keeps local data and the established binding.

Permissions

You can change Photos, Calendar, or Health access at any time in iOS Settings or the Health app. Features that need a revoked permission will stop using that source.

Delete local and iCloud data

Delete individual statuses, plans, courses, or semesters inside NowStatus. Account deletion first requests deletion of the private CloudKit zone and known partner cloud data, then clears the device only after the cloud request succeeds. Uninstalling alone does not delete personal iCloud data.
